With Reef products, you receive all the engineering services required to source and deliver your products included in a lump sum fee, instead of an hourly cost plus price model used by our competitors.
Our facilities are designed by experienced process designers each having worked in the Canadian oil industry for several decades. They consider all of the client’s available information and requirements and carefully design an effective and flexible facility.
A complete detailed design package is created for the entire facility, including structural, mechanical and electrical. All drawings and datasheets are provided to the client for review and input.
Reef pre-fabricates virtually everything. The cost of field assembly of modular equipment and piperacks can be as little as 10% of that of field construction and welding in place in site, especially considering the remote locations Reef specializes in.
Reef supplies all of the required information including detailed facility layout, footprints and weights in a timely manner such that your foundation design and construction may be complete and ready prior to the arrival of our facility on site.
Reef takes care of all the logistics and customs paperwork required to move your facility from our assembly and testing location in Calgary, Canada to your facility location any where in the world.
If requested, Reef will execute all of the site installation and assembly. In most cases it will be the same team that tested and dis-assembled the facility in Canada for shipping, making the process very fast, efficient and cost effective.
The oilfield fabrication industry in Canada is over 60 years old and has vast experience in all aspects of process equipment design. Many concepts that are new in developing oil areas (such as sour service materials, oil treating, gas refrigeration, and sweetening systems, just to name a few) are ingrained in the fabric of the Canadian industry. This makes many of the equipment and system types close to an “off the shelf” design in Canada, where at the same time they are expensive custom and developmental designs in other fabrication markets. As well, the very high government and industry design specifications and standards are by default applied to all of Reef’s approved fabricators and suppliers.
With the low Canadian dollar and your budget in US dollars, Reef’s Canadian equipment is 25% below other international suppliers. This savings is passed on to you, the producing client, making Reef the best value oil and gas facility and equipment provider in the world. With the price of oil expected to hover in the $50-$60 range for 2017-2018, you can be sure the Canadian dollar will stay low as well, providing you with these savings for at least a few years to come.
